Muhammad Ali lived in the West Louisville house (3302 Grand Avenue) during his childhood in the 1940s and early 1960s.  The home was recently renovated (and returned to its original pink state) and reopened for public tours as a museum in May 2016.  A bronze marker located in front of the house reads: "Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. Was born on January 17, 1942, at Louisville General Hospital.  He grew up and lived in this house.....here is where young Clay's values were instilled."
